Product Availability and Estimated Delivery Time
At Heartland, we make every effort to only sell those products which we have already in our depository and are ready to ship to our customers. However, due to the nature of precious metals bullion products, there are times when demand by the public significantly outweighs available product supply. Occasionally, certain products, types of products or products in a specific metal type may get very “tight” in the market, meaning that production of those products is backed up causing slowdowns in delivery of products to our depositories and warehouses. If this is the case, we will clearly indicate our expected delays in delivery times on the product page with an estimated delivery time-frame based on our most reasonable expectations.
On every product page you will see a notice of Product Availability located directly above the Total Price to be added to your cart. You will also see the same Product Availability referenced in your shopping cart when you check out as well as on your Order Confirmation email and Order Details. This notice serves to clearly communicate our expectations of when we will be able to ship a given product that may be experiencing delays and to provide you with a transparent time frame of when you may expect to take physical delivery of a given product.
In these unique situations we provide our customers the opportunity to lock in spot prices and product prices and reserve products from our future delivery of those products we are expecting to receive in the future. While we cannot guarantee a specific length of time or specific dates, we do provide you with a reasonable expectation of delivery.
Heartland cannot guarantee delivery within these expectations, however, because there are far too many variables that are simply out of our immediate control. We will do all that we can to ship your products ordered with any delays as quickly as we possibly can.
Secure Private Delivery
Buying anything online has become an almost daily practice. It’s fast, easy and convenient. However, when you are buying precious metals, you need a little more assurance that you are working with reputable people who will actually deliver your order correctly and on time.
At Heartland, we have found through decades of experience (and in fighting against those who take advantage of precious metals consumers), that the best way to ship precious metals is through the United States Postal Service, with tracking and insurance on every package. We may choose other carriers from time to time depending on the situation and specific order details, but generally speaking, we have found the U.S. Post Office to be the best and most secure available.
Every Package Is Insured and Tracked
Regardless of the method of shipping, every package will be discreet to ensure your privacy and security. Each package will also be tracked and insured to help protect both you and Heartland in the event the package is lost in transit, which very rarely happens.
When your order is shipped, we will email you the tracking number and a link you can visit to track your package as it is in transit.
Many of our packages require a signature on delivery, which completes the tracking and ensures that you are the person that received your delivery.
What Happens If Something Is Missing?
Once your package arrives and you open the discreet outer box, you will find your ordered product and a detailed order sheet, which documents each item that was sent. In the off chance that something is missing, please call us toll-free at (877) 360-3945 (press 2 for Customer Service) so we can research your package status from order, packing, shipping and delivery.
Every package we ship is video recorded and weighed as it is being packed, so we can easily identify if there was a human error in the shipping department. With this video log and weight recording, we can determine that each and every item you purchased was packaged correctly and included in the delivery.
If we find that your shipment was tampered with in transit, we can use the tracking number to file an insurance claim on your behalf. We will replace the missing items at no additional cost to you, and we will deal with the insurance investigation with the carrier, so you don’t have to worry about it.
